We feel that the in house basic obedience program at Hamilton K-9 is second to none and has progressively improved over the years. Our program is four weeks long and includes seven basic commands that are needed to improve the control over the average family dog. In order to have your dog trained or boarded at Hamilton Canine the dog must be at least 6 months old and have all his/her required shots including kennel cough by a veterinarian. This is to ensure that the dog’s immunity to disease is adequate, protecting him/her as well as other dogs at the training center. We ask that the owner provide the food for the dog during their stay to reduce the stress of changing the diet. The owner can also provide any bedding that the dog is familiar with to further eliminate changes and make them feel at home as much as possible. Hamilton K-9 has successfully trained hundreds of dogs of all breeds using this program and we recommend that you call or visit the training center at your convenience to discuss how we can help you with your dog’s training or boarding needs.
